How do you kill a yucca plant?

I have other plants/flowers in the same bed, so I want to be careful not to kill my peonies and roses.

How do you kill a yucca plant?
Cut off the leaves and, then, dig up the roots. They are pretty shallow.
Reply:Shallow? You must be thinking of another kind of plant. Yucca roots go down to the seventh level of hell. I dug down four feet, I thought I got it all, but those suckers came back even stronger. I've heard from many gardeners, they are nearly impossible to remove. Report It

Reply:POUR REG TABLE SALT ON THE ROOT . IT WILL DRY THE ROOT UP.SALT ALSO WORKS ON WEEDS

I don't want to sound like a smart @** but



A) You can uproot it by pulling it out

B) Cut it off and put duck tape over it and hope it doesn't grow back

C) take a torch to it and hope your other flowers don't catch on fire...
